The Guru Gridiron Report: Week 14 Bench/Start Runningbacks

There are allot of great runningback matchups this week. I could list 25, but I kept it to 20. This week we think Matt Forte is the top back this week. The Bears will run all day with Forte and he could legitimately get 2-3 TDs and 130 yards. We also like Michael Turner to have a big game as well. Reggie Bush is back and he is healthy. We do think the Saints will limit him a little, but if they don't he could move up 3 or 4 spots. Allot of big name runningbacks did poorly last week, so we are hoping LT, Joseph Addai, and guys like that turn out better performances. Marion Barber and Clinton Portis are our surprise benches on the week. Primarily because of matchups and injuries.

No mention of Adrian Peterson against the pitiful excuse of a Detroit Lions defense? Don't see how he's not on your must start list. In my humble opinion I feel like he is the #1 running back this week. And of course I'm playing against him in the first round of my playoffs.

Thank you for picking up on that. Originally he was our #2, but in our haste to get up our selections we missed him. We have corrected the post. Thak you for pointing that out and good luck this weekend.
