BREAKING NEWS: FAVRE STAYS RETIRED
This is a great surprise to me. The only word I have heard thus far is that everybody in the industry is quite stunned. The universal feeling at this point is that he has been having more trouble with the shoulder that was let on. People I have talked to who watched him throw down in Mississippi the past few weeks say that while he did have zip on his first few passes, he seemed to ease up quite a bit and was floating passes by the end of the workout. Either way, it is officially on with my love for Sage Rosenfels. I felt he would eventually sub for Favre once he got injured this year anyways so he remains a fantasy sleeper on my board.

Thank God it's over. Now ESPN doesn't have to notify me whenever he buys a new pair of Wrangler Premium 5-Star Denim Jeans, argues with Deanna about taking the dog outside, or throws to Mississippi high school kids. Sheesh.
