Which Wide Receivers Can You Trust

This has been a turbulent year for WRs especially after the huge 2007 season WRs had. We all saw what we've been waiting for and that was the emergence of that position. However, in 2008 the position has regressed and like a bad stock investment some of us are wishing we never bought into players like Braylon Edwards, Torry Holt, , or Randy Moss. At the beginning of the season I wasn't hot on any of those guys. Frankly, I haven't like Holt for a couple of years now, but the season Edwards and Moss had in 2007 seemed to good to be true. But the fall off is worse. Like the US economy there are even more losses like Chad Johnson, T.J. Houshmandzadeh, or Marvin Harrison.

However, I think that thought there have been some high profile losses in the WR position, there have also been plenty of gains. Consider Aquan Boldin breaking out as a 10 3 fantasy wide receiver. You can look at Roddy White, Calvin Johnson, Lance Moore, and Eddie Royal. Now we are in the playoffs and you can't afford to guess wrong anymore. Here is our list of no brainier wide receivers you must start the rest of the season. Do not fear starting them. I will not guarantee you success, but in reality you have no better option.

WIDE RECEIVERS YOU MUST START WEEKS 14-17
Aquan Boldin
Larry Fitzgerald
Greg Jennings
Eddie Royal
Andre Johnson
Lance Moore
Terrel Owens
Reggie Wayne
Steve Smith
Dwayne Bowe
Hines Ward
Wes Welker (ppr)
Roddy White
Santonio Holmes
Steve Breaston
Chris Chambers
Isaac Bruce
Jerricho Cotchery
Marques Colston
Brandon Marshall

Here are some guys to consider starting for your playoff run, who are risky, but hot right now.
Roy Williams
Bobby Engram
Devon Bess
Amani Toomer
Dominick Hixon
Steve Smith (NYG)
Mark Clayton
Michael Jenkins
Derrick Mason
Ted Jinn Jr.
Mark Bradley
Ike Hillard

The WR position in my opinion is still very strong and capable of carrying any team to victory with three players on a team. This is the time of the year when weather and injuries will test your resolve, but you don't want to be that guy who spends the whole off season complaining to friends how you benched Brandon Marshall in your playoffs and loss the week in poured in 2 TDs.
