The Guru Gridiron Report: Week 12 Bench/Start Wide Receivers


Hey everyone. With things getting very busy we are changing our weekly picks to our top 10 players in each position, the bottom 5 you must bench. We will base our numbers on our formula and the players FFS Fantasy Value Rating. (FVR).

TOP 15 WIDE RECIEVERS YOU MUST START

  1. Larry Fitzgerald - He has the skills to break away from Giants defenders
  2. Andre Johnson - Big game Andre will be back this week.
  3. Reggie Wayne - Wow, a cream matchup for Wayne owners.
  4. Anquan Boldin - He'll get plenty of catches and should score once.
  5. Bradndon Marshall - He's talking allot, but will he score allot?
  6. Greg Jennings - Big Monday night game for Jennings.
  7. Plaxico Burress - He could have a 2 TD day if a shoot out happens.
  8. Braylon Edwards - He should have a breakout game against Houston at home.
  9. Terrell Owens - Hasn't done much lately, but you have to start him and he can explode.
  10. Chris Chambers - If he is 100% healthy he will have a big game.
  11. Dwayne Bowe - Should be active all day with a big passing game.
  12. Jerricho Cotchery - Farve will need him and use him in this game Vs. Tennessee.
  13. Randy Moss - Its a must win for the Patriots and Moss will do his part.
  14. Roddy White - He'll get a TD and 85 yards.
  15. Eddie Royal - He's becoming a top target of Cutler's. He should get a TD.
  16. Lance Moore - Quickly becoming a personal favorite for Brees.
  17. DeSean Jackson - He's too fast for the old Baltimore defense.
  18. Steve Smith - Great matchup for Smith. Could have a monster day.
  19. Rashied Davis - He's been quiet lately, but look for him to bust out of that week 12.
  20. Justin Gage - He's landed on the Radar! Start him.

TOP 5 WIDE RECEIVERS TO BENCH

  1. Vincent Jackson - As long as Chambers is back all the points go to the big three in San Diego.
  2. T.J. Houshmandzadeh - Pittsburgh will stuff the passing game
  3. Chad Johnson - Refer to player above.
  4. Calvin Johnson - The Tampa two will eliminate him.
  5. Lee Evans - Until he shows life, you can't trust him.

TOP 5 SLEEPER WIDE RECEIVERS

  1. Donnie Avery - He's lulled us all back to sleep, now watch him step up in week 12.
  2. Lavernues Coles - He is the target for Farve when they get to the red zone. He just needs to get open.
  3. Devin Hester - He is so overdue my spline is about to rupture.
  4. Donte Stallworth - With Winslow out he because the #2 man in Cleveland.
  5. Hank Basket - He has a gorgeous new fiance and next he will add another TD.
