The Guru Gridiron Report: Week 6 Bench/Start Runningbacks

Week 6 comes as a very important week. For allot of managers its a make or break week towards a championship. Four important, but not overly important teams or on the BYE and will affect rosters. They are the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs. Hopefully you are able to back the few lost players up. Here are our week 6 picks.

RUNNINGBACKS YOU MUST START
We think that Matt Forte will see extensive action this week, so start him if you got him. Marion Barber has let him owners down the last couple of weeks, but Dallas will work him into the game plan and he should fine the end zone once or twice. Steve Slaton has been amazing in 3 games and we don't see Miami containing him in front of his home crowd. Le'Ron McClain have been great in the red zone and against the Colts he should get some room to run. Reggie Bush has been amazing this season. He can score in three different ways and can do them all against Oakland. We now get it, Clinton Portis is a healthy great runningback. START HIM.

Others: Frank Gore, LaDainian Tomlinson, Adrian Peterson, Joesph Addai, Ronnie Brown, Brandon Jacobs, Ernest Graham, Michael Pittman

Other Runningbacks To Consider Starting With Some Risk
Thomas Jones will get carries against the Bengals and should fine the end zone once. Michael Turner has been inconsistent in performances this season, so beware on what you expect out of him this week. If you have another good option, we'd say bench him. Steven Jackson will get some junk points and can overpower the Redskins defense, he's worth the start. We like Michael Bush this week, but he may lose carries to Justin Fargas who is returning from injury. This is assuming McFadden is out as well. Julius Jones is a solid start against Green Bay art home. Just hope Green Bay doesn't blow up the game early and making it a passing game. We don't think that will happen.

Others: DeAngelo Williams, Jonathan Stewart, Maurice Jones-Drew, Tim Hightower, Jamal Lewis, Kevin Faulk

Please Bench These Runningbacks
Bench Ryan Grant. We said it at the beginning of the season and we say it now. He will not have the success he had last year, period. Any New England Patriot Runningback other than Faulk, bench.

Others: Edgerrin James, Rudi Johnson, Kevin Smith

Sleeper Runningbacks
If Westbrook doesn't' play, Correll Buckhalter looks to be a great sleeper start against San Francisco. We also like Andre Hall who should get allot of carries with Selvin Young out this week.

Good luck. Next are our Wide Receivers and Tight Ends!
