The Guru Gridiron Report: Week 5 Bench/Start WRs & TEs

Unlike last week there are only four teams on the BYE this week and they are relatively ineffective teams for fantasy football. Cleveland Browns, St. Louis Rams, Oakland Raiders, and New York Jets are on BYE in week 5. There should be plenty of points to pass around this week. Lots of managers loss last week probably because of the sheer volume of players on the BYE combined with some star players just not performing. Week 5 looks allot better.

WIDE RECEIVERS YOU MUST START
We really like Donald Driver this week if Aaron Rodgers plays. Rodgers has an injured shoulder and that will make him throw shorter routes to Driver. Steve Smith should have his second straight strong week. Calvin Johnson is a great match up against the Bears. Kitna should be able to get the ball to him often. We all know to start Brandon Marshall, but also start Eddie Royal. He's do for a score and should get it. Desean Jackson will have a big game against Washington.

Other Wide Receivers To Consider Starting With Some Risk
Marvin Harrison should get some good activity this week and find the end zone. We feel the same about Randy Moss and Wes Welker and Matt Cassel will hook up with Moss at least once in the end zone. Bobby Engram will be back playing for Seattle and should get a whole tom of looks from Matt Hasselbeck. In that same game, with Buress suspended look for Amani Toomer to pick up the slack. Start Robert Meachem and Lance Moore. Both should let allot of looks on Monday night.

Bench Justin Gage against Baltimore. Collins will be running for his life allot of that game. Santana Moss will be shutdown by Philly's defense. He will have a bad game, bench him.

Sleeper Wide Receivers
Look for Steve Smith of the NY GIants to come in for Plaxico and have a nice 86 yard game and a TD. We also like Antonio Bryant in Denver and Brandon Lloyd agianst the Detroit Lions.
