Week 2 Bench/Start Runningbacks Guru Style!
We had some runningbacks get hurt and some others not up to snuff. We will call it WEEK 1 and move on. We expect allot more action from this position in week 2.
Here are our RBs that you have to start.
TIER 1 MUST START
Laurence Maroney SLEEPER - Morris stole some carries, but this is a different game plan and he should be a work horse.
Marion Barber - Watch his injury status.
Brian Westbrook - Always plays well against Dallas.
Brandon Jacobs - He will run through and over the Rams.
Ryan Grant - He should have a very nice 100+ yard game and 1 TD against Detroit.
Maurice Jones-Drew - Its his time to shine.
Adrian Peterson - Indy cannot stop this guy even with Sanders 100%.
Stephen Jackson - He's healthy and running hard. The Rams will establish a running attack.
Frank Gore - Watch out, this could be a huge game for Gore.
LaDainian Tomlinson - averaged 4.6 yards in the opener but failed to score. He'll get that score and more this week.
Willie Parker - He won't repeat week 1, but he should have room to run all day against Cleveland.
Chris Johnson - This guy looked good week 1 and now has Cincy to attack.
Reggie Bush - Whether he runs or catches, he will get the yards. Now there are some great tier 2 runningbacks that you should start and we will tell you those guys now.
Tier 2 SHOULD START
Thomas Jones
Ernest Graham
Matt Forte
Kevin Smith
Marshawn Lynch
Larry Johnson
Ricky Williams/Ronnie Brown
Ray Rice
Clinton Portis
Their are RBs that have a high risk tag on them right now. We consider them our Tier 3 runningbacks. Very hard to call.
Tier 3 - RISK CALLS
Jamal Lewis - He is nursing a sore hamstring and going up against a Pittsburgh defense. Not good.
Joseph Addai - He's a must start, but the Vikings defense stuffs the run and we see Manning going to the air more. Tough call if you own him.
Baltimore Running Game - Ok, is it Rice or is it McClain? Either way they will run allot. Its a risk cause they may go with the hot hand nad who will that be?
Tim Hightower - We really like this guy and he will get goal line carries, so watch him. He may steal a few carries from James.
Sammy Morris - He got allot of carries and may be worth a shot if you are desperate.
DeAngelo Williams/ Jonathon Stewart - Tough call. They are splitting carries. Whoever gets the most carries we like. Both backs are great, just depends which one shines.
Now we are at the must bench portion. People tend not to like our Tier 4 runningback picks because their RB may be here, but this is what we think for week 2.
Tier 4 MUST BENCH
Edgerrin James - He just doesn't find the end zone.
LenDale White
Fargas/McFadden
Chris Perry
Julius Jones
