WEEK 14 SLEEPERS
Week 14 brings some very nice sleepers. Late in the season many teams are facing injuries and need a little help especially in the Playoffs. For myself in my leagues I'm dealing with injuries to players such as Larry Fitzgerald, Marc Bulger, Marshan Lynch, etc.. In order to fix those injuries we look to our bench or free agency. Here are 10 players we think could have a breakout week 14:
Eric Johnson, TE (NOR) - He's been very quite the last few weeks and has fallen off most radars. We expect Drew Brees to have a big game and we have a hunch he'll be part of it. Look for 5 catches, 80 yards and a TD.
Reggie Williams, WR (JAC) - Quietly this guy has put together a nice season. He matches up well against Carolina and should get a TD and 100 yards in this weeks game.
Trent Dilfer, QB (SAN) - He's playing Minnesota's defense. They can't run, but they can and will pass. Look for 2-3 TDs and 250 yards.
Jerius Norwood, RB (ATL) - They are going to run this guy all day on New Orleans. He should see allot of opportunities including 100 yards and a TD.
Rudi Johnson, RB (CIN) - Rudi has been a bust this season and nothing can save that. However, we think Cincinnati will be forced to run allot and he will find success against the Rams. Look or 2 TDs and 100+ yards.
Randy McMichaels, TE (STL) - Randy is another player that is a bust for 2007, but could come up big against Cincinnati. He should be open all day and catch 5-6 passes and a TD.
Jerricho Cotchery, WR (NYJ) - He's playing Cleveland and he is overdue to score. He come end up having a very big game with 150 yards and 2 TDs. He might not achieve that, but he'll get close.
New Orleans, DEF - They are playing Atlanta, which they match up well against and they are playing a rookie QB. We see them winning this game big so late in the game the run game will be abandoned and New Orleans will tee off on the QB. A DTD isn't out of the question.
Kellen Clemens, QB (NYJ) - He's facing Cleveland, and should do very well. He hasn't had a great deal of success this year, but he had a solid outing against Miami and now he's at home against Cleveland. We see 250+ yards and 2 TDs.
Good Luck and Have Fun!
