The True GURU wins 2 Superbowls, goes for 3 NEXT WEEK

Its been a wonderful season for the True GURU. In week 16 I played three playoff match ups and two were for superbowls. In the FOX Sports league I pulled out an impressive Superbowl win and continued my dominance finishing 14-2 over all. Also, in the hotly contested veteran-laden CBS Sportsline league I crushed the Texas Division opponent (and good friend) and really never slowed down since losing my third game in the middle of the season. In the Yahoo league, I played for the right to play int he Superbowl.

FOX Sports League - LV Cowboys (14-2) 114.2 - Grush (11-5) 79
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
This match up started tough, but quickly got out of hand. Four players on my team pulled away this victory for me. Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, Marion Barber, and Maurice Jones-Drew. He was down by 70 points with Adrian Peterson and the San Diego defense left to go. He had slim hope, but it faded with Peterson's performance. This is my first Superbowl title for this team.

CBS Sportsline - Lv Cowboys (13-3) 174.94 - Mongol Horde (11-4) 98.06
CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
This game was fun from the start. On Thursday he had Big Ben and Willie Parker and I had Jeff Reed, who I picked up last week for this game. Then on Saturday he fired two more studs at me in Witten and the Dallas defense with me countering with Marion Barber. With Parker going down, he only had a 27 point lead and a 2 player deficit. Thanks to Braylon Edwards and Jurt Wanrer I steam rolled him and never looked back. By the time it was over I still had Antonio Gates to play and a 73+ point lead. This was third Superbowl appearance in 8 years with this league and my first win. I did go to the Superbowl last season, but lost.

Yahoo! League - Packers (7-7) 64.79 - LV Cowboys (13-1) 98.37

This was my closed week 16 match up. Again, I played for the third time this season the only team in the league that I think truly better than my team. I do think a few other teams are about the season at mine. But this team has players by the name of Farve, Westbrook, Jennings, and Randy Moss. Again though he paid the price of starting Brett Farve. Although he is having an amazing season, he is still not a truly consistent fantasy player and plays allot in bad weather late in the season. I even had a weak performance from Tony Romo, but got picked up by Maurice Jones-Drew, Marshawn Lynch, and Brandon Jacobs. Brandon Jacobs single handily won this match for me by scoring 30.90 points. NEXT week I face the resurgent Sassy Raiders with Tom Brady. She can win, but I think I can put together a week 17 recipe for a victory.
