Week 10 START/BENCH players GURU Style!

Week 10 brings the last BYE week of the season and it carries some pop. Top fantasy players not playing include Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Patriots DEF, L. Coles, Earnest Graham, Joey Galloway, and Jeff Garcia.
Automatically bench any players on the following teams:
New England Patriots, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
(Sleepers will not appear in this blog. If you do not see a player, read our sleeper blog for this week.)

QUARTERBACKS
1st Tier Quarterbacks MUST Start:
Jon Kitna
Peyton Manning
Tony Romo
Carson Palmer
Ben Roethlisberger
Drew Brees
Brett Farve
2nd Tier Quarterbacks You have to Start:
Phillip Rivers
Marc Bulger
JP Loseman
Eli Manning
Derek Anderson
Matt Hasslebeck
Steve McNair
Kurt Warner
3rd Tier Quarterbacks Start At Your Own Risk (Big Payoff or Big Fall):
Vince Young - At this point he's a risk all every game. He's hit a sophomore slump, but he can throw and run on Jacksonville. We think he'll do OK.
Quinn Gray or David Garrard - Either one that plays will probably be in a low scoring affair with the RB's getting most of the touches. Bench.
Jay Cutler - injured check status. If he plays and is healthy he should have a solid game.
4th Tier Quarterbacks MUST BENCH:
Raiders QBs
David Carr
Alex Smith
Byron Leftywich or Joey Harrington

RUNNINGBACKS
1st Tier Runningbacks MUST Start:
.
Marshan Lynch
Willie Parker
Marion Barber
Joseph Addai
LaDainian Tomlinson
Willis McGahee
Kevin Jones
Stephen Jackson
2nd Tier Runningbacks You have to Start:
Brian Westbrook
Edgerrin James
Lendall White
Adrian Peterson
Reggie Bush
DeShaun Foster
Brandon Jacobs
Justin Fargas
Julius Jones
3rd Tier Runningbacks Start At Your Own Risk(Big Payoff or Big Fall):
Watson/Johnson - Both are healthy enough to play, but it looks as though they will split carries and that is fantasy doom. BEWARE if you start Rudi.
Maurice Jones-Drew - He can run against Tennessee's defense, but they are a tough one and at home very tough. Its a risky call, but our gut says start him.
Jamal Lewis - Pittsburgh will be tough to run on. Yea he had 4 TDs last week, but this week is just too hard. Bench him.
Frank Gore - If he's healthy, he can do well this week. The 49er offense is in disarray.
4th Tier Runningbacks MUST BENCH:
LaMont Jordan
Shaun Alexander
Clinton Portis
GB Runningbacks - Most likely Brandon Jackson starting. Bench.

WIDE RECEIVERS
1st Tier Wide Receivers MUST Start:
Larry Fitzgerald
Hines Ward
Terrell Owens
Reggie Wayne
Roy Williams
Lee Evans
Torry Holt
T.J. Houshmandzadeh
Bobby Engram
Santonio Holmes
Donald Driver
Plaxico Burress
2nd Tier Wide Receivers You have to Start:
Derrick Mason
Chad Johnson - (Check his injury status)
Braylon Edwards
Benard Berrian
David Patten
Patrick Crayton
Deion Branch - (Check his injury status)
Chris Chambers
Marques Colston
Shaun McDonald
Antwaan Randle El
Steve Smith
3rd Tier Wide Receivers Start At Your Own Risk(Big Payoff or Big Fall):
Arnez Battle - He has the skills and can over match the Seahawks defensivebacks, but can smith get him the ball. Tough call.
Brandon Marshall - If Cutler plays and is actually healthy, look for a nice game. If you have a better option look at it.
Marvin Harrison - If he plays, he'll play hurt. Check his injury status, but we suggest benching him either way.
Santana Moss - At this point he's a risk every week. We like him this week, so start him if you can, but don't be shocked if does bad.
Greg Jennings - He had a great game last week, but defenses will start to cover him more, and that opens the door for Driver.
M. Muhammad - This guy has all the skills, but never gets the ball. Against the Raiders he can put up 1-2 TDs, but Griese has to remember he's on his team.
4th Tier Wide Receivers MUST BENCH:
Vincent Jackson
Roydell Williams
Roddey White
Ronald Curry
Jerry Porter
Kevin Curtis
Tennessee WRs

TIGHT ENDS
1st Tier Tight Ends MUST Start:
Chris Cooley
Dallas Clark
Antonio Gates
Heath Miller
Jason Whitten
Tony Gonzalez
2nd Tier Tight Ends You have to Start:
Bo Scaife
Kevin Winslow
Donald Lee
Tony Scheffler
Eric Johnson
Desmond Clark
Jeremy Shockey
3rd Tier Tight Ends Start At Your Own Risk(Big Payoff or Big Fall):
Randy McMicheals - This guy has all the talent in the world and should be able to score on New Orleans, but he's been all but absent this season. Look for a nice game.
Vernon Davis - We have zero confidence in Alex Smith. Its a major risk to play this guy.
Todd Heap - He should be healthy, but is facing a defense that covers TEs well. You almost have to start him, but keep your expectations tamed.
4th Tier Tight Ends MUST BENCH:
Bubba Franks
Alge Crumpler
LJ Smith
Leonard Pope
DEFENSES
1st Tier Defenses MUST Start:
Tennessee
Washington
Jacksonville
Chicago
2nd Tier Defenses You have to Start:
Detroit
Pittsburgh
Green Bay
Indianapolis
Oakland
Seattle
3rd Tier Defenses Start At Your Own Risk:
Baltimore - They looked bad last Monday, and will have problems with Cincy on the road.
Dallas - They could come up big, but in the end they are on the road facing a hot offense. Bench them if you can.
Philadelphia - Their backs are against the wall. Washington can't mount much of an attack. Look for Philly to swarm Campbell and Portis.
4th Tier Defenses MUST BENCH:
Denver
San Diego
San Francisco
Arizona
Minnesota
Carolina
Cleveland
Cincinnati
New Orleans
St. Louis

We are no longer going to do kickers. They are way to hard to predict. and most teams only have one anyway. If you need to find a kicker cause of a BYE week base your decisions on 3 factors:
1. Is the kicker kicking in a Dome? (that's good)
2. Is the Defense the kicker facing a tough defense?
3. Is the kicker's offense very good?
