Week 8 Sleepers GURU Style!

Again another brutal BYE week is upon us with so many valuable fantasy players sitting, this is a week when we really need some sleeper gold.

Here are 10 sleepers we think could help your team win in week 8:

Marc Bulger STL (QB) - Sleeper? Yea. He's been cut in nearly 65% of the leagues and would be a great pick up if your QB is on the BYE. He's playing Cleveland and looks to get into a shootout with Derek Anderson. If Bulger can stay on his feet look for 300 yards and 2 TDs.

Jason Wright CLE (RB) - Watch the status of Jamal Lewis. If he doesn't go, this guy has a shot at the Rams defense. His last performance netted 100 total yards and a TD. Expect the same.

Derrick Ward NYG (RB) - Yea he's losing carries to Jacobs, but against Miami this game could be a blow out real quick and Ward could break one at any moment against the league's worst rush defense. Look for Ward to get 80+ yards and a TD. More if he gets allot of garbage time.

Shaun McDonald DET (WR) - He's had several bad games in a row, but with Chicago's weaker pass defense trying to hold off the big Detroit wideouts, look for McDonald to overmatch the secondary of Chicago and find the end zone and 90 yards.

Detroit (DEF) - Detroit is playing the Bears on the road and is capable of making plays. There defense is solid even though the passing numbers don't confirm that. If they catch Griese on a bad day look for a big game out of this defense.

Randy McMicheals STL (TE) - This guy has burned us all year, but we think he will put up some solid numbers this week. We aren't saying touchdown, but we think he will see plenty of balls thrown his way and one could end up in the end zone. If your TE is on a BYE week, pick up this guy and give him a shot.

Tony Scheffler DEN (TE) - Again, many TE's on the BYE. This guy is a Red Zone target and against Green Bay could come up big. Cutler is relying more on his TE's with Javon Walker out, so, grab this guy if your TE isn't playing this week. Look for a 2-3 catches and a TD.

Chad Pennington NYJ (QB) - This guy is playing for his job. Thank God its at home against Buffalo. We expect him to have another good game and throw 2 TDs with 240 yards.

Vincent Jackson SAN (WR) - With Chambers entering the picture and taking attention for at least the first week we see Jackson getting some serious attention

NY Jets (DEF) - The Jets defense is playing a rookie QB on a weak team at home. They desperately need a win and should come through big. If you need a defense give these guys a try.

Good luck this week!
