Week 5 Sleepers GURU Style!
Week 5 has many good players on BYE, so sleepers will be critical this week. Here are our 10 sleepers for week 5:
Brian Leonard - He will get the start against Arizona. Arizona will be looking to put pressure on Ferotte and we think that will opn holes for Leonard. Look for 100+ yards and a TD.
Ladell Betts - Portis is nursing a sore knee, and could go down in the game. Even if Portis stays in the game, look for Betts to get 10 carries, 2-3 catches and find the end zone.
Jason Campbell - We aren't high on this guy, but facing Detroit in Washington is a great match up for him and his WRs. Look for him to put up 250 yards and 2-3 TDs , especially if this game turns into a shootout.
Randy McMicheals - This guy has been absent most of the season. With Ferotte at the helm now, look for him to check down to his TE. Randy shouldn't let us down and get 6 catches 70 yards, 1 TD.
Brandon Jacobs/ Derrick Ward - Nobody knows which guy will start. We think the value goes to Jacobs. He'll get the end zone carries and take over the early if he starts. Ward will get carries, and either runningback can break one. Look for 2 TDs and 150 yards from these two.
Kevin Jones - Slowly he is taking over for Tatum Bell. Jones should get the ball 10-12 times, especially aroundthe goal line. Look for 75 yards and 1-2 TDs.
Antwan Randle El - Detroit's secondary is bad. With attention going to Moss, look for Randle El to expose holes and catch 5 for 110 and a TD. We expect one long bomb out of him.
Houston Texans Defense - Miami's offense is inconsistant. Look for the Houston offense to put up points and keep the pressure on Green. This will allow the Texan's defense to get sacks, INTs, and most likely a TD.
Devry Henderson - We are seeing a big gamevfrom the New Orleans offense. Devry will be part of that. Look for 4 catches, 105 yards, and a TD.
Seattle Seahawks Defense - The Seahawks face-off against Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh hasn't been that effective on offense and can give the ball away. Seattle should be all over Big Ben and a TD is not out of the question.
Jerrico Cotchery - Big game. Has the most catches of any Jets receiver and will be looked at plenty in this game. We see 8 catches, 135 yards, and a TD.
Good Luck!
