Week 1 START/BENCH players GURU Style!
Every week The True GURU will deliver his top five players to start in each position except kicker. Let’s get started. In week 1 we will not include any players from Indianapolis or New Orleans since the game has already been played.
Top 5 QBs to start this week:
Top Five QBs:
D Mcnabb – He will pass all day on Green Bay
T. Romo – Dallas Def will dominate Giants and give the ball plenty to Romo and company.
Brady – The Jets won’t know what hit them.
Leinart – Fitzgerald and Boldin will be busy with the 49ers Secondary.
M. Schaub – First game in Houston, will make an impression on a weak KC Def.
Top 5 RBs
Gore – Arizona - Open pastures ahead of him. Could be a HUGE opening day.
Larry Johnson – Houston cannot stop him, only hope to contain him when he trips.
McGahee – Cincy defense is a joke.
Westbrook – Green Bay won’t know how to cover him, and he will be open all day
S. Jackson – Bulger won’t have lots of time to hit his WR’s, so look for Jackson to get receptions and run.
Top 5 WR
S. Smith – What do you think will happen against the Rams Def?
L. Fitzgerald – The 49ers must pick their poison. Either way, should be a big game.
Terrell Owen – He’s Terrell. 2 TD’s is not out of the question.
Reggie Brown – The Fantasy Sleeper of the year will find the end zone.
TJ Houshmandzadeh – Chad Johnson will be covered all day.
Top 5 TEs
Gates – Chicago has to pay attention to LT most of the game.
McMicheals – Carolina will keep Safeties deep and linebackers in.
Gonzo – Houston really can’t stop anyone
Jason Whitten – Romo’s favorite guy to find. Should get several looks.
V. Davis – He overpowers and out-matches the Cardinal linebackers.
Top 5 DEF
Pittsburgh – Vs. Cleveland – A massacre could occur here.
Vikings – Vs. Atlanta – Joey will get dirty and throw many INTs
Patriots – Vs New York Jets – The Pats DEF is simply to much for the Jets
Cowboys – Vs New York Giants – Cowboys will get ahead of the giants forcing Eli to pass often.
Chicago – San Diego Chargers – With Devon Hester you can never count the Bears defense out.
